LSVT LOUD®
https://www.lsvtglobal.com/LSVTLoud
LSVT LOUD® is a research-backed therapy that helps people with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions regain a stronger, more natural-sounding voice. The program focuses on “recalibrating” how you perceive your own voice, helping you speak comfortably at a normal loudness.
Delivered four times per week over four weeks, LSVT LOUD® combines 1:1 therapy sessions with daily home exercises. Sessions are approximately 50 minutes and are offered in-person at your home or via live teleconferencing.
SPEAK OUT!®
https://www.parkinsonvoiceproject.org
Developed by the Parkinson Voice Project, SPEAK OUT!® empowers individuals with Parkinson’s to maintain and improve speech and swallowing through a structured, supportive program. It includes:
Education for patients and families
Individualized therapy sessions
Daily home practice with workbooks, flashcards, and online exercises
Weekly group sessions for reinforcement and support
Regular progress evaluations
Who is a good candidate for LSVT LOUD or the SPEAK OUT!® Therapy Program?
Beginning speech therapy before you've noticed significant problems with voice, speech and communication will often lead to the best results, but it's never too late to start.
